MY STORY

My name is Noah and on May 18 2011, I had a rare reaction to a vaccine called VIVITROL and consequently spiraled into a major, agitated, suicidal depression with depersonalization. I lost 25 lbs in 4 weeks and was in full panic or near panic for 8 weeks straight mixed with the darkest most painful depression I cold have ever imagined. I immediately could not work and had to move in with my parents who along with many siblings and friends had to watch me 24/7 as I was so suicidal. I was eventually hospitalized. Getting through each day seemed truly unbearable and I knew I would surely die. I have been put on many many different SSRI's SNRI's Tricyclics, Mood stabilizers, anti psychotics, holistic meds, acupuncture and even a form of shock therapy called RTMS. I barely saw any improvement in my condition for a full year. It was decided I had treatment resistant depression and I spent nearly every moment in tears. Weeks after starting my newest round of medications (Seroquel & Nortryptaline) as a last ditch effort, I had my blood drawn for possible hormone imbalances and my Testosterone levels came back 200 ng/Dl and 150 ng/Dl. The average 25 year old male has 750 ng/Dl. With this discovery I for the first time had any type of possible explanation as to why I was not getting better and why I might be so so sick. The symptoms of such Low T are very similar to those of major depression. I started Testosterone replacement therapy soon after and have been checking in with the world and documenting my experience with treatment as well as giving my insight and perspective on various topics of mental health. I am blessed to say that I have slowly, over the last 10 months, been improving and becoming more stable which I never thought to be possible. My low T manifested itself in the form of Major depression, anxiety, and depersonalization/ derealization for over a year. Gaining some mental stability back is nothing short of a miracle as I was near death for what felt like forever. I do not consider myself to be totally healed yet but I am closer now then ever before and aim to use what I have been through to help or at least offer support to others in need.

I was able to successfully come off my Seroquel and am now tapering off my final antidepressant medication Pamelor.

  1. Thanks for the videos. Your background is very similar to mine. I went
through a divorce a few years ago (and that was after spending more than a
year in a children’s hospital trying to be there for my newborn daughter
who was born with bad heart defect) also suffered from some depression and
anxiety and lost a hell of a lot of confidence, motivation, not to mention
muscle, despite having always had more muscle than average. My current doc
had the wisdom to do a blood panel and bingo, my T levels were just outside
of the “low normal” range. It all made sense. Ten years ago I was above
the high average. Anyways, it’s been a month and I feel some improvement.
How long does it normally take to go from a 220 on the scale to 800, for
example (about where I probably should be ?)
Thanks in advance if you have an idea on this!

  2. Myself Just started Testosterone therapy and just had my first shot few
days a go and let me say not anyone can get access to those with out a
doctor approval, if you want to do it right. People that keep gaining fat
even with their workout and that is where the problem they could have low
testosterone and that was my problem. I got tested and found that I have
low Testosterone and so got my treatment started by a specialized Doctor.
It should also help muscle gaining. Testosterone has lots of good positive
things to do with the body other than burning fat or gaining muscles as
well, but if you do it professionally treatment and right otherwise you
    could mess up yourself.

  3. Not bad. How is your mood disorder after a year? How is the depression?
Fasted cardio in the morning for 20 mins and your next year video will be
exactly where you want it to be.

    1. +Joe Ortiz I had the levels equivalent to a 90 year old man over 3 years
ago. After 3 separate blood draws, the doctor decided to put me on TRT and
I have been there ever since. This video is old.

    2. +bignoknow what symptons did you have? I am planning on visited my doctor
too for a bloodtest. My symptons are a lot of sweating since the age of 13
and it looks like my body didn’t fully grow. I am 20 now but have a body of
      a 15/16 year old.

    cards are down.

  7. Hey bud I appreciate your videos and knowledge on this. I am 43 and just
started TRT. I actually had my second shot today of 400 mg test cypinate. I
had 400 mg shot 2 weeks ago also. I go back in 2 weeks and the doc said I
should feel like a new man by then. I hope so. my testosterone level was
100ng, and I felt like i,was in a fog and quicksand, very bad place. anyway
if,you can give me any advice or additional information I would appreciate
it. take care and thanks again. Bill Bearden Burleson, Tx.

Test info as I am now 43 and Im thinking its probably low due to certain
symptoms. I appreciate all your knowledge on this subject. I also

videos. Keep up the amazing work and don’t be so hard on yourself. You look
    great.

    Gary in NY
